Guinness Costello is an associate attorney who practices wildfire litigation, with a focus on primary home loss. He currently represents victims of the 2018 Camp Fire, the 2017 North Bay Fires, and the 2017 Thomas Fire.
He graduated from Northern Illinois University and completed his legal studies at the University of San Diego.
While in law school, he enjoyed an internship at the Public Defender’s office and spent an entire year monitoring the actions of state regulatory agencies, most notably the Bureau of Cannabis Control. His reporting was published in the California Regulatory Law Reporter.
Guinness’ personal interests include spending time with his family, music, and rehabbing classic Volkswagens.
