Stephanie Mercado is an associate attorney whose current focus is on wildfire litigation. She currently represents victims of the 2015 Butte Fire, 2017 North Bay Fires, and 2018 Camp Fire. She is in the process of helping hundreds of individuals recover losses through insurance claims and litigation against Pacific Gas & Electric.
Stephanie is admitted to practice in California state courts. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science, with an emphasis on constitutional law, from the University of California, San Diego and completed her legal studies at California Western School of Law. While in law school, she served as the President of the Children’s Advocacy Law Society and a certified legal intern for Children’s Legal Services of San Diego. She also received several awards including Student of Distinction, Faculty Award, and the Irwin D. Miller Inspiration & Achievement Award.
Stephanie’s personal interest include spending time with family and friends, watching good movies, and pizza!
